There's nothing like the start of a new year that gives everyone the urge to reflect and set new goals. We took the time as a team to sit down to reflect on 2021 and dream big about 2022 and what we want to achieve. We accomplished a lot in 2021 and we know we can use that momentum to keep us moving in a positive direction this year. Last year we introduced our new brand which led to our win in the Home Builders Association of Raleigh Wake County the MAME award for "Best Logo for a Company"! As part of our branding process, we also launched our completely rebuilt website in June. Our new website has allowed us to not only share about the homes we are building, but to build relationships with our customers and realtors. Our 11 step Herring Homeowner Journey was created after evaluating and restructuring our process in order to ensure the best client experience possible. After a successful launch of our new website we were able to implement ProspectsRevealed. ProspectsRevealed is a new sales tool developed by our marketing and advertising agency, Martin Communications, that helps us improve our engagement with our website traffic and prospective homeowners. Despite the issues with the supply chains and shipping that was prevalent through most of 2021, we were able to close 75 homes. We are so excited for the 75 families that are already living their Life well-crafted and look forward to all the other families we get to soon welcome into our growing footprint of incredible communities.

The following is not an exhaustive list, but we wanted to share with you a few of the goals we have in 2022.

Grow our team: We love adding new team members because it allows us to refine our processes and serve our clients even better. Two of the new positions we are adding this year are a Director of Design and a VP of Sales and Marketing. We are also reorganizing the positions of current team members to include a Director of Purchasing, Chief Production Officer, Chief Financial Officer, two Area Construction Managers, and a VP of Process Control. Three new team members will be joining the Herring Homes family very soon and we cannot wait to introduce them to you. Expand our community footprint: Growing our team gives us the capacity to build even more homes in and around the Triangle area of North Carolina. Whether the communities are ReadyCrafted or CustomCrafted, we always honor our heritage by building high-quality homes for each and every one of our clients. Last year we started building in three communities including Everly in Wake Forest (Single-family homes from the $200s), Barrington in Zebulon (Townhomes from the $200s), and Two Thirty One in Wendell (Single-family homes from the $250s.) We also announced our pre-sale opportunities now available in The Enclave at Tuscany. The Enclave at Tuscany is located in Clayton, NC just minutes from shopping, dining, and downtown living. Offer additional floorplan options: All of our floorplans are thoughtfully designed to meet and exceed the needs of our homeowners. Providing additional floorplan options will allow us to meet the needs of even more of our customers and stay ahead of the latest trends in design and flow of your home. Our current ReadyCrafted floorplans include Hydrangea, Lantana, Larkspur, Lavender, Lilac, and Rose. These ReadyCrafted floorplans range from 1,566 – 2,542 square feet and include 3-4 bedrooms. If you prefer a CustomCrafted home, you can meet with our design team, share your vision, and allow our knowledgeable professionals to design, create, and build your dream home. These homes boast spacious floor plans, brick and stone exteriors, upgraded trim packages, gourmet kitchens, and luxurious bathrooms. Some of our CustomCrafted floorplans are The Farm House, The Madison, The Monroe, and the Norwich. These four plans all have 4 bedrooms and are from 2,068 – 3,621 square feet. Continue to grow our REALTOR® relationships: Our Herring Honors program was created to applaud the local REALTOR® community. We know they are a key ingredient to our success as an award-winning homebuilder. We are excited to deepen the relationship we have with our REALTORS® and to celebrate them throughout the year with quarterly drawings and an end of the year celebration. Our first quarterly winner was Julie McGee from Monarch Realty. Our next drawing will take place in early April for realtors who sold homes during the first quarter of 2022. Our Herring Honors program also allows us to share updates to our building process easily and quickly with our REALTORS®. The REALTORS® in our Herring Honors program learn of our available homes first as we announce availability gradually so that we can price the homes as accurately as possible. No surprises at closing!
